Food Pantry

pantryOur food pantry can help your family eat nutritious meals when times are tough.

Generally, qualified households receive food to feed their family three meals a day for three days, and may return to the pantry every three months for additional food.

The types and varieties of food we provide depend on what is available in our pantry, which is supplied by the community.

Eligibility is determined based on your circumstances. Contact our office to explore if you qualify.

The food pantry is normally open Tuesday-Friday, 9:00am - 11:45am.

Energy Assistance

The Salvation Army has limited funding for energy assistance. If you qualify, we may be able to help you with your heating bill.

Contact our office for more information.

Good Neighbor Fund

The Good Neighbor Fund provides a "last resort" grant to help pay the energy bills of Central Hudson customers who have exhausted all other forms of public and private assistance. It is funded by customer contributions, matched by Central Hudson's stockholders, and administered by The Salvation Army.

Because you are limited to only two Good Neighbor Fund grants in your lifetime, and the grant is limited to those who have used up all other forms of assistance, our office will work with you in exploring what other types of assistance are available to you. Once all other forms of assistance are exhausted, we can process your application for the Good Neighbor Fund grant.

Prescription Fund

Generous donors have provided funding to assist with diabetes-related prescription drugs.

Pastoral Care

It is our desire to help not only with your physical needs, but your spiritual needs as well. If you would like to have a conversation regarding your spiritual life, our staff would be glad to speak with you.
